Born and raised in France with Ethiopian roots, Hewan’s relationship to music was shaped long before she entered electronic music culture: through jazz, reggae, dancehall and a lifelong fascination with the power of sound. Today, these influences surface in a practice rooted in curiosity, immersion and collective experience.

She curates Dub Delights on Rinse France and runs Tentacular, two platforms dedicated to highlighting community-oriented and adventurous approaches to electronic music.
